Can You Hook A Digital Coverter Box To An Old Satellite Dish To Get More Channels?

We had Dish network a little while ago, but let it go because of some billing issues…So I was wondering if I ran that to my converter box plus the atenna will we get more channels????? Just wondering.

    you will ONLY get free channels that broadcast directly into the ionosphere, not like all the channels of dish network. And of those old analog channels, you will get pretty much the same as old ‘rabbit ear’ antennas got, no more. In all, very few unless you live in a big city.
